What the records mean
- A and AAAA point the domain at a server's IPv4 and IPv6 address.
- CNAME makes a name an alias of another name.
- MX says which servers receive email for the domain.
- NS names the servers in charge of the domain's DNS.
- TXT holds notes, including the SPF and verification records used for email and services.
The lookup runs in your browser against Cloudflare's public resolver, so we never see the domain you enter. TTL is how many seconds a resolver may keep the answer.
