Commissions
Links that leave this site through a /go/ address may earn us a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. Those links carry rel="sponsored nofollow". Commission rates differ between hosts, and that gives us a reason to favour some of them. We deal with this by showing our method and by not letting commission rates affect a ranking.
Our free plan
We offer one free plan under the Tek-Host name through a hosting partner. We do not sell paid plans. We still benefit if you choose it instead of a host we compare, so to handle that conflict:
- Our plan is never ranked on comparison pages or listed first by default.
- It appears only in a box labelled “Our free plan”, or as a clearly worded option in the help-me-choose tool.
- Every page that shows it links to this disclosure.
The free plan runs on our partner's servers (MyOwnFreeHost and iFastNet), and the plan page says so.
