Where things stand on 2026-11-06: no host has finished testing yet. Every review, comparison and best-of page says so at the top and stays out of search results until it is backed by real results.
The method
- We buy the plan a typical customer would buy, at the normal price, on our own account.
- We install the same test site on each host, so differences come from the host.
- We measure page speed from several regions and publish the raw results.
- We monitor uptime for at least three months before quoting a figure.
- We ask support the same three real questions and record the response time and quality.
- We go through renewal pricing and the cancel and refund process.
What we will never do
- Claim a test we did not run, or publish a score we did not measure.
- Accept payment for a rating or a ranking position.
- Rank our own free plan on a comparison page.
